Existence Is Finite

 

To insist existence is finite is to insist existence is limited, that existence ends at some point or ends in some way.

 

It is contended there is no nonexistence beyond. If there isn’t nonexistence beyond there isn’t need for existence to end or be restricted to a particular structure.

 

Finite means existence is exhausted by one particular structure. However existence is the totality of being, not just one particular structure. No particular finite geometry can exhaust existence.

 

To insist existence ends is to acknowledge or perceive some supposed limiting factor which itself would be existence, by definition.

 

As mentioned, some suggest existence could be finite yet unbounded, akin to traveling around a sphere. If one continued traveling one would end up where they began and could continue indefinitely.

 

However that would suggest limitation, restriction to a spherical or curved system. If there isn’t nonexistence, why limit existence to a circular structure? Could such a structure not be part of greater existence just as Earth is part of a greater cosmos?

 

Could that circularity not be exceeded like traveling beyond Earth into outer space? And if not, is that actually limitation of existence, or limitation of the traveler’s abilities? The ontology presented here contends the latter.
